I'm also curious about the superformance car. However, there appears to be no real data to my knowledge after 1 yr of it being 'announced' on this board.
I spoke to Peter recently. The wait time has beem reduced to about 1 yr. I am currently debating getting the ERA GT vs the Ford GT. I am going to wait it out a yr and see what happens to the Ford GT in terms of price. Downside to the Ford GT in Virginia is the outrageous car tax I will have...
I was recently at a dealer with a car in the showroom who stated they would entertain an offer of $200K. My advice is to sell as soon as you can for a smaller profit. Once the hype dies out, MSRP is what they will go for.
I recently spoke at length with a dealer. They would not entertain any offers of under $200K. It seems that while all these dealers get their cars to trickle in, the price will continue to fall. Dealers will be kicking themselves by not selling for a quick profit sooner when they had over...
Gorgeous car. I currently have a viper GTS and love it. However, if the Ford GT prices ever come down to MSRP levels, I'm trading UP! I just hope the prices come down before the car goes out of production, which I hear is in year 2006.
Just click on the link:

and then on the GT40 segment.
This car is amazing. Best american car ever produced and one of the best cars ever produced by anyone. I had debated getting a replica over this. I have concluded without doubt, I'd much rather...
I want that car badly. Only one problem...WHERE ARE THE GULF COLORS?
Anyway, I like the design of the standard wheels better than the BBS. Anyone know how much lighter the BBS rims are?
Re: any new news?
I'm quite curious as well. I'd love to own a Ford GT one day. Maybe when all the hype dies down I'll be able to buy one. I'll take mine as a 2007 with Gulf colors (if they make it),
Most cars do have slightly different dimensions. I think the only exact replica is the ERA. I saw CAV, RF and ERA together at Carlisle last yr. ERA looked the best to me, but all were excellent.
BTW, you don't happen to be in Jethro Tull? j/k
This morning while driving to work at about 7:30am I spotted a gorgeous GT40. It was either dark blue or black with a central white gulf stripe. Car was spotted driving towards Vienna on Hunter Mill Rd.
