    I thought you knew !!

Absolutely speak up! Someone spotted a loose alternator bracket bolt on my showcar once, I thanked him profusely afterwards. Goes without saying to check out the car beforehand, but you know the old saying that two heads are better than one.. Rick

    A most fortunate day...

Mark, it was a barn out in Almonte. I got lost trying to find the place (wrong directions from my buddy) and ended up way out in the bush somewhere at night... kinda creepy if you know what I mean. I was half-expecting somebody's idea of a GT40 based on a Camaro covered with fiberglass so you...

Best Looking GT40 - Or Worst Looking GT40

Hopefully one of these days, I'll be able to meet up with my fellow Canadians. My eventual goal is to drive my GT-40 from Ottawa all the way to Vancouver Island, visit for a bit before heading south to San Diego and then back to Ontario via Route 66.. See you all at the Toronto show!!! Rick

    RF40 in Canada

Gents, with this much discussion, perhaps we should start up a Canadian chapter of GT-40 owners...? Just a thought

    RF40 in Canada

And as Chris and Mark have pointed out in the a/n, your other recourse is scratch-built (my route) but be prepared for a helluva lot of work!!!! Funny how people can produce kitcars here in Canada and sell them to the States but not vice versa, isn't that a trade infringement of NAFTA...? And...

    what replica is this?

That's what I thought but shouldn't there be more of a background check into one's claim. Anyway, don't want to bander this anymore as I suspect it's already been discussed ad nauseum... Just as an aside, Rob, when you complete the Lola GT, are you going for FIA historical replica status...?

    Very interesting project website

Pretty cool, Mark. There's a guy in the UK who supposedly was offering sport prototype CAD drawings for 50 pounds sterling (ADR Engineering 1000), unfortunately, it seems he never answers your e-mail... too bad, though, a simple yes or no if the plans were still available (which is listed on the...

    GT40 Market trend

Well fortunately and/or unfortunately, you NEVER see GT-40s north of the 49th parallel except for that one in Calgary and Ian's in Toronto... For that matter, Cobras are pretty rare, too. NO cracks about fitting snowplows, please. Rick
