I cut out mesh guards for the the bottom side of the fender vents. My vents are bonded in place so I wanted protection from larger stone strikes. They will get bonded up in place after I powder coat them. I also plan to make solid copies that a magnetic. When I get the car certified I will...
Here is some good info about the X Tracker wheel bearing if you are wondering why they feel a bit gritty/rough while spinning them by hand when new. Watch the video in post #6.

The stock lights are 90 mm.

Some builders upgrade their headlights so I’ll bet a few sets are available unused if you are looking for a replacement.
I decided to repurpose my original lights for my 1980...
Did these ever sell? Here is a bump for you Stephan to the first page if not. This is a good deal.
Sorry I just realized the headline mentioned they were sold.
I’m collecting parts for a future GT-R build so I’d be in for a set of the fog light lens as well. [email protected]
Plus any other parts you might want to replicate/sell. Especially the CNC side mirror mounts and rear grills.
Howard here is the McMaster-Carr part number for your application if using the same stub shafts as me #91074A353. They are $13.96 for a pack of two (One pack does both rear stubshafts). They are reusable as well.
It all depends whose axle stub shafts you are using Howard. The difference is in the size of the nut. I think you are using the same stub shafts as me (DSS 33spline C7 Corvette). If so….the following pictures shows the part number and fit up.
For anyone else using the upgraded factory rear...
Those are the ones I have. The GM part number is #11518424. They sell for about $10 each new.
The matching nuts are #11517996. They sell for about $4 each new. They are distorted thread lock nuts so I would recommend buying new. I would just use regular m10x1.5 nuts for fit up and then...
The 6 bolts holding exhaust manifolds to the cylinder heads get thread sealant and torqued in 2 passes. First pass-11 lb/ft, second pass-18 lb/ft. Starting in the center then alternating outwards.
The nuts on the studs get tightened to 37 lb/ft with no mention of a thread lubricant or thread locker
A good high temperature rated anti-seize
I just noticed that the stock nuts are magnetic.
I’ll see what the OEM service manual calls for regarding the threads.
Here is the correct size boot clamps:

Small end-(34mm)…………..Febi-Bilstein 38758…………Porsche 928-332-257-01
notes:
-my car from 2012 did not have boot clamps on the small end but I notice most newer cars have them.
-these...
BT-36 is the correct boot (that’s what mine is). The Driveshaft shop (DSS) is your best bet for new ones. I tried to find them elsewhere and came up empty.
Once and a while DSS were known to install the wrong boots and they only lasted a couple of drives. In the last few years I have read about...
Something like this should work. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Universal-Windshield-Wiper-Switch-for-Single-Motor,2371.html
I guess most users of the Intrigue steering column remove the right wiper/washer stalk. You could mount a momentary push button switch (for the washer) next to the...
