Hi Wish it was simply waterpump. With combo of Mkii FE, Aviaid dry scavange pushes balancer forward, thermostat neck, alternator, and pulleys......all need clearance.

Got a FE with shorty pump. Everything is now 2nd passenger, alternator, thermostat housing, distributor etc.

I picked a mkii because I wanted BBF FE and to stay in the spirit, mkii is correct for that combo. LT

Thanks I was told by sump maker that horizontal tanks are a different animal. They are very inefficient and are never made like a preferred vertical style. Cheers Larry
