    Fuel tanks

Hi Jason, If you look at Ford Controls Pack Installation Manual it shows how the fuel system should be connected. I can't attach the manual for some reason, but you can find it here: http://www.jegs.com/InstallationInstructions/300/397/397-M-6017-A504V.pdf Regards, Renato

    Link tanks?

Yes, I see your point. My tanks are still sheets of aluminum so I can finish them as I want. It is a mayor modification for an existing tank. I'm thinking of access panel behind firewall (rear bulkhead) for pump service, not sure if that will do. Renato

    Link tanks?

Hi Darrin, I like the idea of a crossover and a single fuel pump also. I think it can be done safely and 1/2 price (well, almost :) ). Take a look at the same post for fuel pump I'm thinking of using. It will fit your engine. Regards, Renato

    Filling the chassis voids

I did a test with Aeromarine product. It's a two component closed cell rigid foam used in aircraft and boats. It's 2 LBS density foam and very rigid. Made a "u" shape channel from aluminum and filled it with foam. Felt very strong after the foam cured. My only concern would be flammability and...

    Renato's GT40 MkI Coyote

Chassis Finished paneling the front area but didn't rivet yet. Still didn't make the decision on what to put inside the void. There has been a lot of great suggestions from everyone and just have to choose what works best for me. Renato

    Norfolk Tornado

Hi Andy, I hope your recovery from surgery goes quick and easy. Congratulations on your purchase. I have a Bridgeport "knee mill" and even this early in my build I'm using it so much. I'm sure you will enjoy your machine many time to come when you get in to a bind late at night. Mine came...

    Fuel tanks

Hi Jayson, I thinking the same way. That is why I want to connect the two fuel tank and use only one pump. Savings are significant. I'm not building a Le Mans car so I'll be happy with one pump reliability. Just wasn't sure if connecting tanks is doable and it seems it is. Regards, Renato

    Filling the chassis voids

I know Tom (EGLITOM) filled his RCR spyder with two component expanding foam successfully. I am thinking of doing the same on mine. I haven't found anyone filling voids between aluminum panels. Regards, Renato

    Third, Centre Brake Light

Hi Keith, Been looking for the same thing for few weeks now. Found few universal LED lights on EBay that look decent. I want something complete with cover to screw just above the rear deck window. Audi TT looks promising, but couldn't find any good pictures to verify fit. I'm finding...

    Filling the chassis voids

Is anyone filling the voids between two aluminum panels with something. My wheel wells and some other areas have panels on both sides with about 1.5 inches of space in between. My double firewall is getting hi temp heat insulation so I'm not worried there. I'm considering filling them with...

    Fuel tanks

Hi Jason, It's available from many online retailers of Aeromotive products but the cheapest I found was on Sparktec Motorsports for $435. Most other places you'll find for about $500. I'm looking to find some customer feed back. Are you going EFI? Regards, Renato

    Fuel tanks

Tom, Yes, you are right. It incorporates a small tank and foam to soak up the fuel. Also the return is in to the same area. I kinda like the simplicity and compactness of the setup. The question is: will it work as advertised? Regards, Renato

    Fuel tanks

Tom, I like how you worked out the details in your fuel system. Thanks for posting pictures, that's more than 5000 words right there. :2thumbsup: Coyote uses return-less system where the fuel rail gets around 55 PSI and that is it. It's regulated going in to the rail, not sure why they did...
