Weber MAX CFMs (Weber Carbs and Max Air Flow)

Things with stacks (Vert or Horiz) usually sound good, 240Z, Old BeeMer, etc. Things with the right cylinder counts also seems to sound better (straight 6 and of course v12's). It's all just sounds funny as Christ-ler straight 6 and all ;)

Weber MAX CFMs (Weber Carbs and Max Air Flow)

Well my guess if he is using 3 barrels of Weber on a 6 Cylinder Engine that might be a give a way on what the manifold direction might be ;) Cram a Holley on it and see what it does... Sandy

    Haltech 10X ECU

Thanks so much for a starting point! At least I'll have something that will be better then the stock sample map. I think I'll just have to mess with the scale since my injector are much larger (too big potentially) but that hopefully should again just be scale down the fuel a bit, but curves...

    I got the shaft

My complicated Drilling Jig may be too advanced for the task! Well the 12 drill bits came in and I'm going to restart the process, and your right will take a long time to get things done. Sandy

    Jim - I'll shoot you a pm.

    Haltech 10X ECU

That would be hugely helpful if you could snap a couple of shots of the fuel maps and anything else you found you had to tweek. The overall power will be in the same ball park, I am just running much larger injectors but that should be easy to correct. Anything you got would be a huge help...

    I got the shaft

Ok For starters broke 2 drill bits in the jig. Then realized the jig is not for metric, so a FAIL (Bolt not super secure and must have moved). I have 12 Cobalt bits coming, and that should get 6 bolts done at my rate of bit destruction:furious:. Jonathan - Couple of questions did you use one...

    Haltech 10X ECU

That might be closer then the stock starter. What size injectors are you running on the car? And do you have an idea of HP (You can share in a PM also) Last question any way to dump out the maps and general settings in a report as I'll bet the 10x will not import the data files from a different...

    Haltech 10X ECU

Anyone running a Haltech Fuel Injection system? I'm looking for some baseline tunes for a motor and figured someone here might just have one or some experience with it. I'm running a Haltech 10x Fuel only on a 347 SBF with 10.5:1 compression and TWM Stacks, 55lb Injectors, soild roller, healthy...

    Wiring from hell with pictures!

No hijack of my thread I'm a squatter here ;-).

    I got the shaft

yeah, I got the boxes of bolts and decided to order some extra drill bits, no chance I'll be able to drill them with the 2 supplied with the Jig I have I see a lot of broken bits due to being an overly monotonous task. Sandy

    I got the shaft

Bolts and washers are here today. McMaster Carr is really fast to ship, now the task of drilling them all.

    Wiring from hell with pictures!

I remember that, a tangle of wires, wait, it's still the same. I am just starting to wire the back Part of the RCR40 and fortunately I have eliminated the notion of a harness and fuse block, seemed like more stuff to hook up. I crammed that all into the dash so less stuff and a couple of...

need dashboard layout photos, also vents?

I got a set or excellent reproductions of the vents from Andy, one of the members. He has had one more set up on ebay a while ago and I was going to get a spare set but decided to spend it on a mirror. http://www.gt40s.com/forum/gt40-build-logs/19421-sandys-rcr40-gulf-chassis-11-a-4.html I...

    I got the shaft

Dean - Thanks just did an order from McMaster Carr! I'm slowly but surly getting back into it. I have to get some more wire for the back end of the harness and get moving, I have just too many car project going at the same time, but want to move on the GT40 when I can. Looks like I'm going to...

    I got the shaft

    I got the shaft

Just got rear half shafts for the RCR40, and before ordering bolts just want to make sure the wheel sides are what I think they are. The trans is a 930 with both sides 930 cv's. Trans side 10mmx60mm 1.5pitch allen heads Are the wheel side the same 10mmx60mm threads? Also any gasket between...

    Roll-over valves

I have a plasma cutter and it is a really helpfull thing. I would NOT use it to cut the tanks for one big reason, and that is, it produces a sand like substance that will spray all inside the tank due to the air pressure on the cut. Cutting with a saw leave the trimmings mostly at the bottom of...

    Roll-over valves

Yes, the RCR cap is way better as it has an internal cap as well. The one thing I need to do is get rid of the key, I can see loosing that at the track and being pissed :) If I had to do it over I likely would go with the bladders in the side tanks, but when all said and done I think just...
