The new side mirror shape is out of the tooling now as well. I’ve been working on the SL-C quite a bit.

I also confirmed the template for the rear window and am creating my own rear window opening panels. I’m kicking around ideas now.

I worked a bit more on the roof scoop shape. The part has a base flange that is intended to be cut into the main body.

Thanks... No bondo needed as I'm using fairing compound. The fairing compound sands much more like the fiberglass thus making the job easier. The 3D print will be the internal mold for the fiberglass part. I'm going to fiberglass over the top of this along with a gelcoat exterior surface...

I didn't feel the need for hard anodizing for these parts, although I have experience with both as an Automotive Engineer.

Installing anodized parts next.

A quick update... 1) Powder coating is back and looks great. Prizmatic Alien Silver. 2) Anodizing is due back early next week for the rear wing bits. 3) Pre-season chassis cleaning is in the works.

I'm wokring on interior door cards. I need to add a battery cutoff since opening up the rear clamp each time to activate the battery is a bit of work. I have to detach the rear wing uprights and bracing each time... I'm planning a mechanical battery cut-off as Dan Carter did on his build...

The radiator outlet duct is very effective at moving the radiator heat out and away from the foot box. . Next is vacuuming down my A/C and checking for leaks.

My radiator outlet duct has been a long time coming and today is the first drive with it installed. I’m anxious to see how much heat this drives away from soaking the foot box area. This modification is going to be really important to improve the capability of the A/C in the passenger area.
