    Assembling a Monocoque

I made my own seats for my 40 , but when gt40 builders in Scandinavia observed this I ended up with a lot of seats. It is good to be able to help some of the mono builders, since I had the drawing and tools. But it is time consuming to make them. So I go back to the car work.

    balancing the flywheel?

I made my own flywheel exact like the original ones from the 60's but I belive I have to balance the flywheel . Can this be done as a stand alone? or do I have to use a crankshaft and the harmonic damper to get the right balance. I think the old original flywheel drawings was correct, but I...

Ford GT40 Factory Blueprints Chassis plans from Ford Advanced Vehicles

I belive that the plans are usable, but remember you need all drawings if you intend to make a exact clone of the Monocoque, belive me , I have been true this . So if you buy theese plans you can make a kind of monocoque, not complete, it might be good enough for most of the builders. You have...

The GPS speedometer is ok if you live in a place with no tunnels, but in Norway we have lots of tunnels so the authorities does not allow this as the only speedometer.

    digital Speedometer

My plan was to use a mechanical speedometer and cable from the ZF 25-2 transaxle . I wonder if there are senders to connect on the ZF ? and use a digital speedometer. I have to use a speedometer with km not mph, the authorities require this. Someone out there with a good idea ? Rune

    Assembling a Monocoque

I have started to produce some outer stub axles and the flywheel. It is lots of programming to do before the machines can do the job. But it started well in the lathe. I will use 930 CV joints in both end now to start with, and might change to donut later. My work now is sanding sanding sanding...
