hi This is a tread where I´m building the car strictly from the original drawings . and will not divert from that . If you have ideas about building the car other way please make your own tread for this please. Rune

It was better then that, a nice gentleman told me how the original cars made the electrical system wire by wire, so now I have the wiring exact as the old cars :)

The fuelvalve is bought from Aircraft spruce and is for experimental aircraft cost $30

I have spent many hrs on ebay and other places to look for a fuelvalve, but with some good pictures I vent out in my garage and spent some hrs there and here are the result. Still some minor to do before put in car.

A friend of mine have a gt40 with a 302 engine and IDF carbs The engine start and run fine until it is warm then it start to smoke heavy . Someone have a tip on this? Is IDF carbs good for SBF engines ? or is IDA the one and only?

Thanks for the answer, but when looking on pictures from original cars there are already one tank for the coolant + the two tanks high up on wall on each side. So there must be some other function for at least one of the tanks . And these tanks have no cap so I assume that they are a kind of...
