    GTD Fuel Level Sender

I hope I have overcome the problem. Two controllers from Spiyda and a special “GT40” fuel tank sender from WEMA should fix it. Time will tell.

    GTD Fuel Level Sender

How on earth did you get those to work, as they don't reach the bottom of the weirdly shaped fuel tank unless angled?

    GTD Fuel Level Sender

How did you wire them in? This 2 wire earth return sender has me totally confused! I was expecting one side of the sender to be ground, but neither is :(. Just noticed, yours aren’t Smiths gauges :( @IanAnderson - Do you have a wiring diagram for the gauge/sender wiring?

I have just ordered two of the Spiyda controllers, so hoping that will be a fix. Thank you.

    GTD Fuel Level Sender

As a follow up to this, has anyone fitted an accurate sender unit to work with the Smith gauges. Neither have mine have been accurate (useable) since i have had the car. Numerous removals and bending of wire hasn't worked either. I have now resorted to running off one tank and when it runs out...

    Marchal 653 Driving Lights

Are your lights mounted from the front, or from the rear? It appears that mine were mounted from the rear, which doesn’t have a flat surface. I have just tried a few things out and need to pack the bottom out by 8mm! I would like to fit some form of adjustment, rather than a fixed plate (plus an...

    Marchal 653 Driving Lights

Looking to adjust my Marchal driving lights, as the OS one seems to be more of an aircraft landing light than a driving light. These are both bolted straight on to the lower light box in the nose clip by 2 bolts. How have you guys adjusted yours?

    smiths gauges

Is there such a thing as a “standard length” for a GTD40 speedo cable, or will I have to take it all out to measure it? I have measured the (broken) inner and it seems to be 3.295 Metres ( 130 inches) but the cable that used to be supplied (NLA) by Tornado was 157 inches long. Looking at the...

UN1 Rod Change Reverse Gear Lockout

Following the above.... Has anyone made a lift-up type lock out function, similar to those used on lots of modern cars?

    smiths gauges

Does anyone know the length of a GTD40 mechanical speedo cable? The inner has gone on mine and they seem difficult to obtain. I don't want to go to a digital version and change sensor and instrumentation, unless I have to.

UN1 Rod Change Reverse Gear Lockout

UN1 Rod Change Reverse Gear Lockout

i know. I have seen it :). But I have all the rod shift, etc. all I would like is the lockout plate to alleviate the problem. ~It is also "upside down".

UN1 Rod Change Reverse Gear Lockout

Having had a look around without any luck, does anyone know where i can get a reverse gear lockout plate/mechanism. Reverse on mine is left and back. I have seen the Tornado cable mechanism, but would rather a selector guide plate incorporating a reverse gear latch of some form. Any ideas?

    Rear wheel bearings...

Thanks for the replays folks. Maybe I didn't explain very well..... I have already loosened the top and bottom hub carrier fixings ( those highlighted in red) if that is the "safety issues" you are speaking of. If not, please tell me what you have seen. I cannot detect any play in the...
