    SLC 001 Build

The 917/10 or 917/30KL was the first race car to utilize the 'turbo' fans, IIRC. I have a more aggressive/detailed version drawn in CAD, but have not figured out how to produce them at a reasonable price. Yet.

    Ricardo for sale

Agree completely. My Ricardo is also near 200 lbs .... Big, Heavy and Strong (like bull) :) Somebody there has their facts confused with a different transaxle - Mag case, NO. 117 lbs, NO. Only 650 hp, NO

    Ken Block RIP

Ken was a great showman, how could one not be amazed by his gymkhana videos. All the cool cars and locations, the San Francisco video was my favorite, must have cost a fortune to block off SF and LA to make those films. Wasn't much of a real rally driver (see his many WRC crashes) but he sure...

Homemade CFRP mid engine sports car

Continues to be one of the most interesting projects on the forum - Seems like the perfect spot for radiators would be the two huge openings in front of the rear wheels (?) This will give some 'trunk' space up front and keep residual heat out of the passenger compartment.

    M20 Dreaming

Leon, Magnificent car my friend. Do you have any video other than the short clip driving out of the pits? Would go a long way to help sell the car, especially to an off shore party. Demonstrating shifting, cornering, speed, glorious sound.... all would instill additional incentive to a potential...

I vote for the flame treatment, but then I've always been pretty conservative

    SLC 24 Howard Jones

Thanks Roger (will watch as time allows) My question specifically pertains to double wishbone on the rear of an SLC and similar chassis. Without purposeful 'steering' input how can caster be actively altered? Or beneficially actively altered?

    SLC 24 Howard Jones

Oh now.... that question strikes a cord. Neil, I have been searching for intelligent discourse on the effect of rear caster. Please enlighten us (me) on the benefits (or not) of rear caster. On a properly set-up rear suspension is it even possible to generate active rear caster (camber...

Gonna do it. Lotus Esprit SBF.

Very clean and well finished installation. Does it "make the noise"? As some of our European members tend to say.

New SL-C from Atlanta saying hi!!

Which Ferrari are you using? Mine was originally going to use a 360/manual 6 speed, but I had bit off all that could be chewed with the chassis, sub-systems and body mods that were done. Still have the Ferrari box. Very interested in which engine management system you are going to use and your...

New SL-C from Atlanta saying hi!!

Just catching up on this. Wow, complete unique body in carbon.....really looking forward to the result. Will you be using the SLC 'glass'?

Again one about Spa 6hours and GT40

That was some sketchy stuff. Some seriously great saves involved there.

    SLC Hubs/ race worthy

To be clear, I believe Howard has standard (as I do) C7 bearings on the rear as opposed to X-Track C5

    Dusty's SLC Build

Older video. Engine is not loud IMO, seems to have a large 'amount' of sound as opposed to a loud/high level of sound. If that makes any sense.
