Anybody out there (hopefully close to Basingstoke, Hants) been rebuilding their 1970 onwards 302/351?
What I need is a water pump. It doesn't even have to be working as all I want it for is it's housing though it must still be watertight.
Does anybody know whether the water pump on a 351 Cleveland has a standard bolt pattern?
I've just removed mine and it looks exactly like the water pump on my '71 Mustang.
The rear deck plexiglass(?) of my GTD is warping, presumably from the heat build up when the car is standing still.
Does anyone know what material this is made from or where I can obtain another one

I've got a 1970 Ford 302 which has had substantial work done on it.
My problem is that this used to run on leaded petrol and now we have unleaded.
Does anybody know how I can continue to use this engine? Fuel additives perhaps? Hardened valve seat inserts?
Suggestions would be welcome.
As a newcomer to this site let me say Hi to all you fellow GT40 worshippers out there!
Now, done to business. I've been looking at the UK market for kits and have been tempted by both MDA and Tornado.
I'm not an impatient man but I believe that Tornado's current delivery time is a massive 44...
