Two Post or Four Post Lift?

I have a two-post and it works great - I lift my GT40 off the frame/pan, I use hockey pucks at the lift points, this way I clear tanks and body panels. It allows for wheel/suspension work on the GT40 and my other cars.

Hi - I am back working on my RF & update

I thought I would say hi and let you all know I am back working on my RF. I have been off working at a new job - one of my clients decided that my firm was better suited to be full time for them - so as they say in the Godfater "they made an offer I could not refuse". BUT long hours (and I...

    Pin-drive adapter nuts and sockets

My Tesstarossa had kock offs and the torque was some phenomianl amount 300 ft-lbs. There is a company that makes torque renches for knok offs and big hex nuts (some Ferraris). When I get home I look it up and post. PS The only thing that was a problem was the fear of missing and hitting the...

    Wheel Nut vs. Wing Nut

My Testarossa has single nuts and they are torqued to 280 ft-lbs. The car comes with a nice wrench and a bloody big lead hammer - all of which fit within less than an inch from the body. I took a wheel off once and swore I would sell the car before doing that again.

    Gas Assist Lift Cylinder

I too looked at using struts - it seemed the way to go. But after the clips were installed and the SS cables were fit I must admit this is much better than the struts. The clips go to a point and from there on they just easily go to full open and stay there. The clips are easy - one person...

    Waiting, waiting, waiting

Some states call it a registration tax or licensing tax, even though it is the same rate as the general sales tax. It is a misnomer that if you purchase something out of state that you do not have to pay sales tax. If you reside in a state that has a sales tax and you purchase something that...
