    Vent Window Install

Yes - I put the longer am on the vent side. I used black self adhesive foam tape around my light covers. Works well. However, for the side windows I merely masked and painted the window edges. If I ever re-do my side windows I may use the foam, although I'm not sure it is needed. I get very...

    Vent Window Install

Yes - the insert/window leading edge join needs to be bevelled to allow the insert to swivel out (or at least did on mine). Just a few degrees on either the window, or insert, or both, should do the trick. Also, install the hinges such that the lower part of each hinge is on the window side...

This really continues the saga of the Avid 2000 started in the Photo thread. To Own A GT-40, it takes??

It really depends on how original you want to go. You could pay a few thousand for a Pontiac Fiero based car, or up to half a million or more for something that closely resembles an original. Do a web search for GT40 for sale. There are a few out there.

    Clutch release lever

Thanks Chris. The box is a dsah-1 out of a very early Pantera and has been inverted. The dash-2 boxes found in most Panteras use the straight lever. I have one of those, but it does not work. Good suggestion re Lee Holman. I will try him.
