Good catch Ken. Important to take care of before installing a nose hinge when they become available. I agree on your choice of 7/16" fastener (or 10mm equivalent).

More work done on the intake manifold. I tacked it together. It's off being welded by a professional. My welding stinks. Also shown is the Dirty Dingo A/C pump install.

Will raising the vertical wall on the drivers side affect how the Radiator, body, hood, and door mount?

Ken Mine are not symmetrical either. The drivers side is lower than the passenger side. I believe the left and right side aluminum pieces are not cut the same.
