    Holley carb problem

Russ, You were right on this one - sometimes it pays to dig deeper into a problem - sometimes it pays to do a blunt force repair. The question is how much time and detail you wish to invest. I'm about to install my rebuilt carb - I hope the rebuilder did a good job - he seemed very...

    Holley carb problem

Russ, If the rebuilt carb works and eliminates the problem, he would have "learned" that he had a bad carb. The question is how much detail he'd need to know about what was wrong with a bad carb! John :pepper:

    Holley carb problem

Malcom, Rather than going through all those time consuming machinations, I suggest that you pick up a rebuilt double pumper and bolt it on. I just picked up a rebuilt 750 CFM for $255 at the Carlisle Spring Show. John :pepper:

4bbL vs weber or stack for max hp from 302

Gordon, I have a victor Jr. on my GT40 with a Elderbrock 600cfm carb - seems to hesitate (buck) a little when accelerating from 2-4000 rpm. How would a Holley 750 double pumper work on the Victory Jr? John :pepper:

    Door Locks?

Tmack, I'm thinking about using a remote door lock on my 2nd GT40. These locks are available on ebay and use a plunger mechanism. The plunger would secure the door to the spider and be opened and closed remotely. John :pepper:

    Sandy's RCR40 Gulf Chassis #11

Sandy, My car uses the Porsche 930 also. I've never been crazy about how it looks from the rear - you can see the 930 support frame hanging down below the fiberglass. Have you found a way of concealing this. How about posting some photos of the rear of the car! John :pepper:

    PC spec for Microsoft Access

Lee, I'm a computer consultant working with large databases - I would recommend Visual Foxpro (v 9.0). It is Microsoft's 2nd tier database - faster and more robust than access, but not overkill like SQL Server 2005. I routinely use it to manage databases with 3+ million records and it is...
