    Legacy Wiring Schematics

Gents: I have a pre-ISIS car and am in need of any schematics available for the older wiring harness. My electrical works seems to be put together with no rhyme or reason and it's making diagnosis and troubleshooting almost impossible. My car is overheating because the fans are never turning...

    SL-C Sold

For what it's worth - I bought my SLC already completed (Rapier) from Fran. By the time it got to me (late 2013) it was a bit of a mess. The support and assistance I received from Fran was exemplary. He even connected me with someone local to resolve the issues. To echo the above posts, it's...

    Thanks to H and H-Craft

Just got my car back for H and it is fantastic. Suspension all setup. Engine tuned and running correctly and a host of other "shake down" items that H and this team addressed. Took 8 inches out of the tail - what a difference it makes. Anyone in the Southeast would be will served by H.

    SL-C powerplant possibility?

Just my .02c My SLC has a LS3 crate motor (480hp). I think it's what makes the car so fantastic. Easily maintained and parts are available everywhere. I toyed with the idea of an exotic engine -but in the end the sound and fury of the small block chevy has been more than enough - with...

    Luggage Space in a SLC

Re: One Lap America & Luggage Space in a SLC I have it on good authority that 8 bags of pine mulch and 2 bags of top soil will fit on the passenger side footwell and seat. You should have seen the looks on the faces at Home Depot. I have a 997 TT as well - there is no comparison. The turbo is...

Many thanks for the info. I have sent an email to H. Craft and will follow up by phone in the morning. I work not too far from Buford so this might just work out great. Thanks again

Need a good mechanic in Atlanta

Of course could also be tune. Seller I purchased from had to replace the ECU because the car wasn't running well. He told me he went back to stock for the 376/480 crate motor. Not sure if it needs tuning.

Need a good mechanic in Atlanta

First problem is P0507 (High Idle) - LS3 376/480 Car idles about 900 RPM Stalls coming off power (like an exit ramp) Fuel economy is terrible - fuel smell is present but no leak detected If I wiggle the MAF connector (in air intake) I can make it stall No obvious vacuum leak Changed out MAF and...

    Ricardo Transaxle connectors

So - on the reverse switch - I have two wires 1- goes to the fuse block in the engine bay (power) 2 - goes to a splitter - 1 end goes to reverse light 1 end goes into cabin? So I assume that something is energized in the cabin when the reverse switch is...

Exhaust/Headers - to wrap or not to wrap

Thanks, my shifter cables are close as well. But wrapped well and so far no issues with them. I am in process of shielding all the wiring down by the engine, but mostly just to not have this again. Fran and his guys did a great job with the "factory" wiring All my problems are from the...

Exhaust/Headers - to wrap or not to wrap

Having some serious thermal management issues with my SLC. The MAF and transmission reverse/VSS bundles are now a bunch of melted goo sitting on the left exhaust. In repairing this, I have find a bunch of (post construction) wiring that comes into close contact with the pipes. Not good...

    Ricardo Transaxle connectors

One other quick question - does the VSS get used with the digi-dash? I have a magnet/sensor on the left front wheel that the digi-dash uses for speed.

    Ricardo Transaxle connectors

Thanks Will. Much appreciated. Do you have any thought on exhaust wrap. I'm concerned I'm going to have heat issues with these pipes.

Does anyone have the pinouts for the reverse switch. I need to replace mine as the wires melted on the pipes.

    Ricardo Slave Cylinder Bleed Bolt

I actually tried that - but I couldn't get any turn on the wrench because of the close quarters. Turned to an regular open wrench and, well you know the rest

    Ricardo Slave Cylinder Bleed Bolt

So, fresh with the success of power bleeding the brakes, I decided to move onto the clutch slave cylinder. Turns out the tilton reservoirs are two piece and must be tight (pic #1) before adding new oil and 10 lbs pressure (ask me how I know this). Long cleanup later - I moved onto the bleed...
