Thankfully the SLC is much more pleasing to the eye than the car that inspired it. The Furai would be a winner for sure. Sticking to concept cars that will never see the light of day would be a great niche. As far as a replica from today's supercars, I would like a Pagani. In Carbon.

Looks like a great event, I wish I could be there for it. Please take many pictures for the first annual SLC show. Now that more SLCs are being completed, it would be great to organize a yearly event in Detroit since it would be more central and a logical venue as it's RCR's home base.

Warren-congrats on your SLC! Beautiful build. Are you finishing the interior? The SLC feels awesome with NA big cube motors. Doubters who never drive one will never understand how much inherit traction the SLC has in spite of it's light weight. Even more so with the right spring/shock...

The CF air boxes don't fit. They hit the roll bar uprights. They would fit if the bars made a straighter run from the suspension like the 01 car, but not where the production kit situates them. I'm using BBRfilters instead. Al, I don't unfortunately, but Will may.

Knowing how little Allan is in to celebrating his birthday, he may not appreciate the thread much.... that said I think deep down he will like the guys wishing him well on his birthday even if he doesn't admit it. Happy Birthday Buddy! :thumbsup:

I made my roof scoop functional to supply fresh air while moving. I have exhaust fans in the rear vents to keep cool air flowing through the engine bay as much as possible while idling. I have future plans to replace the rear window w/vents.

Use the filters I'm using. I had them custom made. Less than a 10rwhp loss vs. open trumpets. BBR filters. Great guy and had them out to me really quickly once I gave him the measurements he needed. Fit like a glove the first time too. Yes sir, I agree! :thumbsup:

What's the longest 1 way drive you've taken in your SLC on the street (not race miles)? Does anyone have a road trip planned with their SLC this year? I've only gone a couple of miles in mine since my interior wasn't installed. I'm planning on besting that this Spring.
