    Poly mounts

Fran, Thanks for the clarification. I understood the fact that they were Pfadt mounts. What was unclear to me from RM and Wayne's posts, was what it takes to install them. There was talk of cutting, etc. Sounds like that's not the case. Colin

    Poly mounts

These poly mounts. . . are they a factory installed option, or will builders need to buy them, grind off the RCR mounts, and weld these in?

    Any SL-Cs in my area(s)?

Went to Dallas, and can't than my host sufficiently to completely express my gratitude for his generosity. Fwiw, don't wear all black to Texas in May, and if anyone in your family is thinking about a facelift, strap them in an SL-C with Cam instead. Also, if you are shy, this isn't a car...

    SL-C Wheels and Tires

Thanks for the information. There are many, many tire manufacturers out there, but am I the only one that is finding 2-3 options for the standard wheel, and even fewer for the upgraded wheels? In fact I think I only found one option for those. What are you folks doing for tires?

    SL-C Wheels and Tires

For the standard wheels 18X9.5 front and 19X12 rear I've gathered that the tire sizes are 275/35/18 and 325/30/19 respectively. What are the correct sizes for the upgraded wheels 18X10 (or 18X11) front and 18X13 (or 18X14) rear. Are the offsets and back spacing for either option standard C6...

    Carlisle 2011 Superlites

The side exhaust on the Carlisle duo. . . can that be muffled, or is "raw" the only way to go?

A Black SLC Heading North on 280 Yesterday

Awesome. That means I missed it TWICE. Where is that big "L" stencil I keep around here?

A Black SLC Heading North on 280 Yesterday

I assume the car is sold, but does anyone still have the link for that ebay listing? For that price, I'm kicking myself that I didn't know about that listing. Edit: Found the listing. . . and am really beside myself that I missed this opportunity. Link

A Black SLC Heading North on 280 Yesterday

The black Rapier car is the car that Fran had at SEMA. It is indeed for sale for $110k+ and is apparently currently in the Boston area.

A Black SLC Heading North on 280 Yesterday

I think the original sighting report mentioned race tail. You NorCal guys really impress me with your organization.

    Fast five...

I saw the film and thought it was a bit disappointing. Not that I was expecting an Oscar worthy plot line and acting, but I watched the previous films because they immersed me into some different variant of car culture. . . Tuner, drifter, etc. The producers have admitted that they are moving...

Yes. Do that please. Would make a shop visit much easier.

    Any SL-Cs in my area(s)?

Looks like I'll need to plan a trip up to the Bay Area. I'm in Los Angeles. PMs being sent.

    Any SL-Cs in my area(s)?

Hi there, We're getting pretty serious about building an SL-C but can't make it to Michigan in the near future. However, I did have the chance to see the SL-C at SEMA recently. Seems like there aren't many street builds out there but I'd love to get an up close look at any completed builds in...

    SLC 001 Build

Fran, I like the notion of improved rear visibility. Will be interesting to see how these look in production. My initial impression is this design introduces sharp hard lines to an area that was dominated by roundish curves. I'm only one voice, but I think a rounder styled housing might look...

Would anyone be interested in Custom Plasma-cut Parts?

Newbie question. . . The part that needs reenforcement. . . is it the part where the door attaches to the body/chassis, or where the hinge attaches to the door?

    SL-C #50 Allan's Build

Somewhat ironic. Builders of the FFR cars are looking for options to replace the corrugated flex coolant lines that come with the kit.
