    Abbey Panels chassis plate

Hi Mark, What you have there is a GTD built in the 80's. the chassis plate is a fake. They have used a chassis number after the last original ones. There should be a GTD chassis number on the top of the front 40mm chassis rail where the anti-roll bar is. There are people on here that can then...

Hi Ben, In you picture No 9 of the brake servo, to the left of it you can see a number on the rail., not the other numbers in the center, Either that is the number or there is a new number on a plate over the top. Possible new owner of a Ford gt. A lot of doubts

Hi Ben, There should be a chassis number stamped onto the cross member where the pedal plate bolts to near the battery in the front. Hi Glen, Pam treated me for my 80th. It was an awesome experience. I could not believe how sensitive the controls are and it makes you appreciate what those young lads did back in the '40s. Paul, The MK3 that was on the club stand at the NEC was the actual car that was in Ford's museum in Swansea. Museum curator, Ken Atwell was given permission to take moulds from it. He then made his own car and so began the birth of the GT40 replica world. Brian.
