Thanks guys, haven't done much recently, waiting on the rest of my parts from Fran so I can get moving again. I'm back at work now which is not good, have had 12 weeks off so taking a while to get back into it. Front & Rear clips are all wired now so I have working lights! The plate is on...

    Spraying inside of fibreglass

You'll get away with 500ml tbh, I've used hardly any doing the whole rear clip.

    Spraying inside of fibreglass

Went for the Blackfriars satin black, seems to do the job just fine. I think I may have over estimated how much I needed though. The 2.5 liters I bought seems a bit much lol.

    Spraying inside of fibreglass

I'm gonna spray the insides of the doors & clips now before I start clipping cables & stuff to it so I don't have to strip too much later. Any particular paint I need to get or prep I need to do to get the paint to adhere? Just going for matt black. Jay

Busy weekend again, shaped all of the windows & fitted them. Such a crappy job, as you can see there is perspex/polycarbonate dust/chips everywhere. Gets in your hair & eyes, go to rub your eyes & just rub more dust into it lol. Going to get the headlight/indicator covers done next so I can get...

    Dashboard covering. UK

Ahh sounds good, I'll give them a call & see if I can actually get a quote --Ahh someone beat me to it, thought it'd be about that much. There's a guy in Swindon that can do it too, I need to take my dashboard to him to get a quote. Here's some pics of my friend's AE86 Corolla dash that's...

    Dashboard covering. UK

I've found a guy in Oxfordshire that can flock the dash, it's rolled with glue then sprayed with electrostatically charged nylon fibres so they stand on end. Looks good & I may go this way if leather proves too expensive. Worked out to be £150 delivered back to you. Jay

Black nylon screws to attach windows/headlight covers

Anyone have any idea (UK or US) where I could get the fasteners (3mm csk) in black rather than the natural nylon colour? They must do them as I've used them on other things, just can't foind them for sale anywhere. I know I'm being picky but I want everything to be perfect lol.

Measured the fog/reverse according to SVA manual & they are in spec, even with engine & fuel I think I'll still be ok (have about 50mm spare) if not I'll just add extra brackets to them. Vaughn the overflow tank came from Car Builder Solutions TBH though it may be too big, not much room...

Yeah I wouldnt like to be caught in a 40, hard enough getting in & out when there's no panic. Headlight mounts bonded in now, would like to start on the passenger side but it's a bit late to be cutting stainless - neighbours might get a bit annoyed lol.
