Fit and finish look horrible. You would think that a company would make sure that everything looks nice before posting pictures. Also don't really see any bracing for the chassis after they made it a convertible.

How much lower is the hood on the Apex? Would it clear the 4g63 motor if it was still in the front?

If I wanted to keep the 4g63 powerplant, would the only thing I need to do is fab up my own motor mounts and use a FWD transmission? Would the stock axles still work? Not a fan of the vw motors and already have a built 4g motor waiting to be installed.

Will there still be a option for a 4g63 powerplant? That's the one thing I was looking for since I already have a fully running built Eclipse waiting to converted to a Apex.

I'm using a ACT2900 with a Southbend Kevlar street disc. It is very streetable. Holds more torque then the 2600 and is not as stiff. I have it matted with a ACT streetlite flywheel. I"m currently at 502hp.

Yeah I have done all upgrades except for the bottom end so far. Driveability is good on the BC280's. I lose low end torque but gain it up top. Yes I am on speed density. The current built head is ported and polish with a 5 angle valve job. Has Manley springs and retainers on stock valves...

Yeah that's on a completely stock bottom end. Not sure how long it will last at that high level of power but at my level 500hp it has been in my car for well over a year without any problems. My bottom end is completely stock. I only have a built head on it with ARP head studs.

Stock 6 bolt hp record is 749.5 set by Ostar Motorsports. These motors are very beefy.

It's still going to be a Eclipse so I don't see why not.
