Hello. It has been a while sense responding to this thread. It would be totally awesome if I can get my grubby mitts on any version 1966'ish GT40 dashboard 3D model. Anyone still have this? If, may I have a copy please? [email protected]
Absolutely. I can take a peek and try some fits in what I have dimension wise. Would you mind emailing what you have to [email protected]? I will do my best and send back any improvements/notes. Many thanks, Don
Hello Troy. I am looking for a Dashboard CAD or 3D STL (anything digital model'ish) to fabricate my own dashboard for my 1966 MKII build. I have been toying with the idea of picking up a cheap 3D scanner and vising a local guy who is also building a MKII. Anywho, if I can find enough info to...
I am interested in creating a 3D model of the 1966 GT40 MK2 dash for the purpose of slicing for 3D printing. Before tossing that on top of all of the remaining tasks in my build, has anyone done this or know if anyone has tried?
Needing GT40 Forte' compatible front upper and lower wishbones. I live in the US, Houston Texas. I am finding modifying my aftermarket Mustang II wishbones warranty making them from scratch or buying pre-built. Anyone know of any for sale?
Many thanks,
Don
Hello. I am building out my GT Forte' right hand drive dash starting with builders foam insulation sheet. I am looking for some dash specs/dimensions to assist in this fabrication. I can probably wing this, but would rather build close to specification.
Many thanks,
Don
Hello Everyone. This is a photo of the right side (looking from the rear) of a 10E rebuilt transmission purchased from Advanced Automotion. I asked Scott about this goopy mess and he told me not to mess around with this otherwise it may cause $800.00 in damage. I used to overhaul Chevy 350...
Good morning. I have searched around looking for Forte' spaceframe rear lower wishbone tubular dimensions un-successfully. Would anyone happen to know where I can find these dimensions? I would like to mock one up our of PVC in order to get an idea of the positioning of my rear uprights.
I...

Mike. I am going to use this Sunday fabricating pieces out of PVC using the measurements you have provided. I really appreciate this Mike..
Thank you ^^
Mike Pass. Absolutely. That would be perfect. My frame is a GT Forte' and I have it tacked up until the shell arrives. However, I need to have the wishbone assembly and rear uprights on the front burner. I can take your measurements and pump them into CAD and toy around a bit before...
Happy Weekend Gents, I have searched this forum and Googled a bit but can not seem to find any dimensional specs for the GT40 spaceframe rear a-frame and supporting assemblies. I believe I have what I need for the rear upper, I just need to get dimensions of "mainly" the rear a-frame. But all...
I've taken a clearer photo of the output flanges used on my 01E purchase from Advanced Automation. I've not heard back from Scott on specifically what these flanges are used in (need this info to narrow my CV search). They seem to have the following markings: SCN DE 088355C and of course the...
Hello Terry. That is correct. I have spot welded about 98% of the space frame (minus the roll cage ... waiting for spider to arrive before bending). The entire frame I can pickup and navigate it up and down by hand onto benches or onto 17 inch high standards for easy access.
Everything is...
Many kind thanks Ken Roberts. I was thinking so, but wanted to consider the possibility that I have goofed somewhere. I will work with Scott on this.
Ken, could you please verify that I am considering the right process of building out my rear suspension?
