.

One of my favorite schemes. I vacillate between this scheme and P1061... the MK1 Gulf configuration has the best rear end hands down (IMO)

Just curious, when did you place your original order, and when did your build start?
I placed an order for P2442 which has a build date of July 2022. Sounds like the build has been going on for several months. Will be interested to see how long this process takes, including the build, shipping to destination, and the engine/transaxle installation. Who is going to do the completion of that beast?

4/26/21 is when I signed my order and sent my deposit. Currently my car is in final inspection, and I hope to get photo's in the next couple weeks.

Once the car is on the water, it takes about 30 days to get to Olthoff, then about five weeks for the build.

My motor will be finished in the next couple weeks, and sent to Olthoff.

My build might take longer because I am going to rinse the superformance details, and do more of a race car interior.

I was told the factory builds two GT 40's per month.
Can you provide some details on the engine (make, size etc.)?
Thanks,

Thank you---is this one of the Shelby blocks and the Borla injection unit? Will you be using an internal hydraulic throwout bearing for the clutch activation or an external slave cylinder/lever set-up?

I’m kinda partial to that color as well Dennis did mine as well and great experience

I too am a fan of that colour scheme. Mine should be on the boat to the UK in a couple of weeks. They just need to fix the driver door as I spec'd without the "Gurney Bubble" and they put one on. The engine is already here. A 427ci with Borla 8 stack from Prestige Motorsport. Dyno run showed 509bhp and 525lbft, which should be just about perfect. Can't wait to add her to the collection.
