Alex Brundle / Pearson Engineering GT40

Having watched the video on YouTube and Alex Brundle refer to his brand new mk1 in build at Pearson Engineering as a “replica”, a couple of questions come to mind. Who built the chassis tub and does FIA appendix J still currently apply to cars racing to original spec to meet FIA rules ?
It just seemed odd to me Alex repeatedly used the R word.

Not sure if Gelcoe under his new name/owner is still building GT40's. Thought they just selling parts now.
There's a German building new GT40's now with FIA pasport based on Swedish made parts.

my understanding from Rob is they are no longer building complete cars but are still building everything in terms of parts and including tubs

Yes the problem is most race teams want to build their own car so there is no real reason to have talented mechanics on the pay roll. So they are selling complete unassembled cars.

GOX is building tubs and complete cars in Sweden. A member on this forum is the US rep for them. Unaware of any other sources of tubs there.
GOX is confusing. No literature, no website, zero information.

Does anybody know how many completed cars they have supplied

GOX does not exist as a company and have not for some years. They where a Swedish company with alot of love for engineering but zero competence for sales and documentation unfortunately.

Gox does not exist as a company, but Goran is still making all the parts on order and as I believe a German company is building them with these parts.
As I believe, ten cars are to be build.
Not sure if Lemb motorsport is involved, but they show up every year with another GT40 which they build in house.
