It is great to see the hiccup over the site is over but there seesm to be a few questions on how overseas addicts can contribute financially. From talking to other UK guys Pay Pal may not be effective from the Uk.

My suggestion is that we buddy up and a UK GTD40 Club member and a US club member pay each others subs, so for example I pay some one like Brians UK club membership and he pays my Forum membership. Saves both parties the hassle of transferring funds and currencies and each club/forum gains extra members paid up!

Anyone up for this?

Paypal works fine from the UK but is in US$ always - also your idea does not help non-members of any club !

Seems like you know about PayPal so please can you pass on your knowledge. It would help Ron enourmously to get this sorted.

Our club welcomes non owners as well as owners so there is no need to not be a member of the club. Remember for your £30 you get access to the club DVD or video plus about 120+ pages a year of magazine dedicated to the GT40. £30 won't hinder a build fund and will potentially save you thousands as you find out more saving you making some of those inevitable mistakes.

And as you are UK based you can attend our events.

When Hersh or Ron or John or Lynn decide to OK using Paypal they will give an email address to use - log onto Paypal.com, setup an account and/or a one-off payment and make the payment in US$ to be sent to the chosen email address - you will be billed onto your credit card just as if you were buying something normally by credit card overseas and they will receive the funds according to how their account is set up - simple
