The frame was cut out of a piece of 8mm Ali plate then the lugs welded on ,lots of sanding ect,then a rebate put into back to accept a Custom piece of 6mm glass, totally worth all the time and effort I think , just spent ages doing the Heartwell latches and just as long doing the original door latches and catches so things take lots of time when you struggle to find or buy parts that you like to put on your car ,I must say that both sam and I would like to thank the people on this forum Who have helped and inspired us to create modify and change the things that we have we could not have done it without you and your input, I think we have been able to build a much better car because of this forum and the people on it
