By Any Other Name.

How's this, I'm presenting roses to my friends at GT40s! They were made years ago by my Uncle Ludwig. My Mother's side of the family were blacksmiths, and in the grand tradition everything went to the eldest male, Uncle Max, on the passing of Max Senior. Ludwig went to Munich and worked on the M1 BMW. He'd come home now and then and bang on the anvil once in a while, making items like these roses.

Thanks guys. Ludwig was so much fun. He had that Bavarian sense of humor that had you rolling with laughter at any moment.

When I was 15, we went to our little town of Massing, Kreis Eggenfelden. Max and Ludwig kept trying to get me drunk to see how Americans acted when they were under the influence. Drank a lot of wonderful beer and had incredible sausage and broetchen in an attempt to remain sober. Split the seat of my pants as well. ;~)
