Cav GT40

Hello, how close are these to the real Gt's I am doing my reseach, and would like some feed back from the actual owners, and how much would it cost on the average to build one?
Thanks,

I'll take a shot. Underneath and in construction, the CAV deviates from the originals by using a stainless chassis instead of steel, thicker fiberglass and a highly upgraded interior, just to name a few changes.

As for the exterior, none were the same, nor were many the same all through their existence. I've included a few pics of 1076 and mine (a tribute to that car).

In the first couple of pics you can see how different 1076 looked at different times. Then there are some of mine and 1076 as restored from similar angles.

Regards,

Ron
