Just received my copy of Motor Sport in the post & was pleased to see a great cover shot of the 67 Le Mans, with 6 GT40's leading the way.

Flicking thru the mag I was quite suprised & interested to see an ad for 'Thruxton Sports cars, sole distributors of the incredible CAV GT40 (as seen on TV)' the contact details are www.GT40cars.co.uk email rick Chattell [email protected] tel 01428 664276

Would it be churlish to say there's no address and the 'full price list' only covers options - instead I guess we ought to wish the guy well

You may also notice that there was no wing-mirror on the off-side... do we have to assume this is for track use only? If so, why would you want a full leather interior?

Also, that steering wheel wouldn't pass SVA from initial visual.

Plus I thought one of the kit manufacturers were looking to distribute the CAV and were putting one through SVA, anyone remember who and how they are fairing?
