Developing my SLC Build - Input Appreciated!

Potential intake problem: The VVTI 1UZ has the intake out the front similar to the LS style intake. However I can't flip it like the LS can.

Fran's 1UZ was the non-VVTI and thus didn't have this issue since it comes out the side:

Now I have ~4 inches of room to fit the TB and intake:

What do you think, is that enough room to make a 90* turn... or any other ideas?

Also the non-vvti intake won't fit on the vvti heads so that rules out that option.

Can you place a 90 first then relocate the TB off to the side? The TB shouldn't care where it sits. If the engine uses a mass air flow sensor be careful not to place it too close to the TB or have a turn just before it as the turbulence will effect accurate readings

Oh snap! So I was told it couldn't be done so I only quickly tried by rotating the upper intake, not the whole thing

The intake plenum is fully capable of being rotated 180* as long as its both the upper and lower. I feel both dumb and awesome at the same time right now haha

I know its not the greatest, but from just hand/wire brush I think so far its turning out pretty well =]

Also, has anyone completed a Gulf Blue SLC yet? I can't seam to find pics of any completed ones anywhere!
I'm half considering modeling the car off the sky blue LFA... still very undecided tho...
