Donor question

What car do the front uprights, stub axles, steering rack and brakes come from on the RF?

Paul, The RF is a no donor car. The only thing that is is the gearbox. Everything else is built by RF or is contacted to be built for the RF. Going this route assures the quality and fit of all the parts in the RF.

Sorry to contradict you Gordon but Paul has asked about 3 components which definately are sourced from donor cars. Robert may correct me but I'm sure the front uprights and steering rack are from a Ford Cortina.Roaring Forties recondition them to a high level though, with new boots on the rack etc.The standard front brakes are from a Holden Commodore which is an Australian made GM Car.

Regards Ross

Yea, thats why I asked because I saw the mention of reconditioned parts. Due to some totally wacky rules about importing kit cars into Canada it would be much easier if I sourced these seperately to the rest of the kit.
