Before shooting they go to all of the major car shows and "PICK" which cars they want. I was approcahed by Singleton back in 2007 at HIN in Orlando. Nice guy BUT I wasn't going to give him or his crew cart blanch with my car as at that time I had JUST (finished spraying the cage two hours before check in) finished the car and wanted to play with it first. One of the members on here did have their 40 in one (Blue GT40). It's not that hard for them to find cars. They put the word out at shows and EVERYONE shows up for the chance. I kick myself now because the BMW they chose was just horrible!!!! some orange regular 5 series trated up.

The GT40 replicas used were RCR40's and they were all done to look the same...
Three were used and all three survived....they were purchased specifically for the movie, not loaned.
