Festival of GT40\'s!!, not SPEED!

What an event, the "Festival of Speed". However this year it should have been called the "Festival of GT40s"!

I have never seen such an impressive display of GT40's in my life. The most amazing aspect being the 3 MKII's blasting up the hill with such enthusiasm!! Those cars have some serious presence!

And I have never seen such an amazing static display by the house either. The 3 MKII replicas by Mark Sibley of MDA and Chris Melia were simply unbelievable - my hat goes off to them for presenting such beatifully turned out cars. INCREDIBLE!

A day I will remember for a long, long time!

Anyone has pictures as I could no make it but I heard it was impresive!

I do not want to dissent from the quality of this weekend's display but do I remember correctly about eight years ago Ford had a lineup somewhere near the cricket pitch of even more GT40's than there were yesterday ? Did I dream this ?

Congrats on your great achievements. Now do a red #1 MKIV!

You might want to think twice about that. So far as I know Ford still owns the design rights to the MK-IV...
