Goodwood Festival of Speed

In case it's not general knowledge the 3 winning MK II's from 1966 (1046, 1015 & 1016) will be at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed (9-12th July). It is intended to run them up the hill past the grandstands and public viewing areas. Truly a sight to see and hear !!!
The cars will remain in the UK for the Goodwood Revival later in the year.
They've not been seen together for many years, so for UK GT40 enthusiasts this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Go fill ya boots !!!!

Hi JimmyMac ......... I was not intending to 'tread on your toes'. I missed your post in January. I'm sure you'll agree that revitalising this on forum will hopefully make more UK fans aware. It's hard to believe that 60 years has passed. Probably explains why I prefer not to have a crowd of onlookers when I struggle to get out of mine !!!!!
