Ford GT on Fifth Gear tonight

Hi all,

Ian Poulter (the golfer) has a Ford GT and is lending it to Fifth Gear.

Ian already owns a BMW M5 and an Aston Martin DB9 but he's recently bought himself a Ford GT to add to the collection. Tim Lovejoy fixes it for Ian to see what the car can really do on a circuit, and talks to him about his passion for speed.

It was okay.
Not too much about the car really, more about the guy.
Oh, and then showing him and the presenter driving somone elses GT around rockingham cos his GT is not road registered yet (or wasn't then).

His car was not road registered because it was in USA spec and had to be adapted to UK spec i.e. the lights (the direction of the beams) were in the right position for lefthand drive and had to be repositioned for righthand drive.
They lent him the Ford Demonstrator and let him loose on the Rockingham track.
Later they said he had got his car but since it was lefthand drive he had to be very carefull on overtaking in this country.
