Fuel pick up tubes

Where do you buy 3/8" NPT to tank fuel pick up tubes?

I would prefer the pick up tube to be metal not plastic. The threaded end should be 90 degrees.

Thank you,

Thanks Steven!

I see he used marine JB Weld to secure the tubing to the fittings. I will probably make mine too using brass fittings and solder the tubing to the fittings.

There's this style available:

with https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tnk-5mpt

My RCR came with this style, but I went a different direction...

Careful with the JB Weld and other over-the-counter adhesives...it may last you a season but few adhesives can handle total fuel immersion for extended periods, so are not fuel-proof, maybe fuel resistant (but for how many hours?). Even aircraft/mil-spec "ProSeal" tank sealant breaks down in gasoline after a couple of years and needs to be reapplied. Most are formulated for Diesel/Kero/Jet fuel, and not gasoline...

Thanks Tom!

My RCR didn't come with any tubes. A 3/8" NPT weld-in-fitting was installed and that's what my pick up tube will screw into since it's on theinboard side of the tank. I've ordered brass 90s and will solder or braze a tube into that fitting.
