Welcome to GT40s Bob.

Got a lot of sand up there for you to play in? Nice looking buggy!

Randy

Actually the Mears Michigan dune complex is about 6 hours away my car never goes offroad at all its setup like a slalom car and goes very well for itself i am sure with a more competent driver it might be even quicker thru the pylons it runs 12:21@ 114 mph all day and has been in mid 11's on the bottle
Playing offroad here in ontario is pretty tough these days It is not unusual for my wife and i to hit the superslab on a saturday or sunday and knock back 4 or 500 kms on a cruise

thanks as far as i know my car is the only street legal watercooled vw powered sandrail in all of canada getting them street legal here is not easy just like building a kit car here in ontario is becoming more difficult to do with each passing year kit importation rules are getting impossible to deal with
I have friends and family in Toledo Ohio and my wife and i regular travel there in the buggy during the hot summer months for shopping and visits round trip total from my home in waterloo ontario to toledo and back is 969 kms

I am building a new mid engine car and am seriously seeking the help and advice of one of your forum members

i am here searching for as much info about the chyrsler 42le as i can find performance mods and controllers for trans trying to get a hold of bartman

if adapters are not a big issue i may run a healthy liittle 2565 cc OHV ford i have that makes 270 hp (pinto motor) or i may fool around with the chyrsler 3.5
