GT40 on eBay $22K

There is a GT40 replica on eBay at $22k with reserve not met and no bids. It doesn't say which kit it is, but I have emailed asking. I have not had a reply yet. Does anyone here know about this car that is located in West Mifflin, PA?? It has a ? 4spd.? ZF transaxle and a 351c.i. engine.

It looks like an ex-T3/now Melson Motorsports pastiche per the attached thread, where there's a pic of (I believe) the same car with different wheels:

The shape certainly does nothing for me, ZF or not. In fact, and IMHO, I think it's butt ugly /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

Rob,

Right you are, I knew something didn't look quite right, but I couldn't put my finger on it. The one thing that told me that this wasn't one of the original based bodies was the width of the two side naca ducts. I think I am going to have to get my eyes checked. I missed the inboard brakes on the quasi 1058 car also 8-( that is in the GT40 cars for sale forum.

Not the first time this car has been on e-bay...
but I thought the dealer was from down south (Fla?).
Regardless...it carried a high price tag, which will be
tough to achieve unless a complete novice buys it.

Randy assembled this car with a 302 and 911 tranny, which
is what the pictures still appear to show.
Again...a novice is probably their only hope.
