The car I’m building is going to be a track car only. Does anyone know if they used plastic opposed to glass for racing, and if so, does anyone know where I can get a plastic windshield?

Check with Dennis at Olthoff Racing, he has had them made for the SPF GT40s they are running in vintage. Original cars never used composite screens, only the Triplex laminated glass.

Went to the Olthoff website and didn’t see Windshields. Any other suppliers?
He does not list them on the parts section, you must call.

They make a plastic shield. And all windows headlight covers. Rear window etc.. shield was 650 dollars.

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of DOT approved laminated windshield here in the USA????
Seems that there is no one manufacturing shields here in the USA. And i dont want to deal with shipping from a foreign country. Please Help!!!!
