I have rented a race track july 1 & 2 \'03

WCARS (World Championship Auto Racing Series) has reserved Roebling Road Raceway in Savannah Ga. USA for July 1&2 2003.
It may serve as a venue for some of us to run our cars at speed, and while not a track of the caliber of Virginia, it is 1/3 the price and I have already reserved it for testing anyway, splitting time with WCARS. Check out their website at WWW.worldcarz.com

Is there any interest ? I would be willing to host a party for those that wish to attend. I believe we will have gt40p 1046, J4 , and perhaps more as it now stands.

P.S. I am going to the WCARS event at Road Atlanta Jan 4 & 5 and will report. All are welcome there too.

I am in no way associated with WCARS except that I enter their events and it is pretty good track time, with about 20-30 cars of various description.

I will be there this year unless wifey poo stenuously objects--without a GT40 though--unless you wanna buy lots of Network Routers and Switches

Savannah is only about 4.5hrs from Raleigh. If my car is ready, I'll be there! - Lynn

Well, 1046 will not be there this year as it will be en route to Goodwood for the July 11 event celebrating Fords 100th anniversary and Goodwoods 30, 40 50 ?th anniversary. Might get a substitute Shadow Dn4 can am. How about it guys ? any interest ?
Chip, yes, you can do a lot of laps in your car if it is finished, and I hope it is.

J6 will likely be enroute to Goodwood as well.

Darn Goodwood, It is hard to imagine that they would schedule something so close to this important event. George says he'll come with his T70 or something, just to get in some laps and go to the beach in the same vacation. You are welcome to do the same...It would be no\ice to see J6, but a rental avis Mustang 5.0 would do just as well for the comraderie purposes, not to mention make you easier to pass.
