Just bought my GT40 evocation

After looking for ages saw this car at the NEC classic car show and fell in love. Its a factory built AK cars demonstrator. 500bhp Coyote engine on jenvey throttle bodies, quaife box and diff, AP brakes and Nitron suspension. Interior is finished lovely too. Looking forward to warmer days!

Beautiful build Adam. Congrats on your purchase. Looks like its built to a excellent standard. Please post more pictures in a build thread even though it's a completed car. I really like the color combo too.

I have nearly finished my AK 40 build ( buld log on here......'AK SPORTS CAR GT40' ... I was one of the first to purchase when ak took over southern.
Very pleased with quality of parts, so you should have many trouble free miles ahead of you....
What area of UK are you in ?

I have nearly finished my AK 40 build ( buld log on here......'AK SPORTS CAR GT40' ... I was one of the first to purchase when ak took over southern.
Very pleased with quality of parts, so you should have many trouble free miles ahead of you....

Yes it's a very high quality build. The biggest surprise has been the ride quality, firm but compliant, I put that down to the Nitron suspension. Im in Leicestershire would love to see your build sometime

Rather a long way for a quickie visit as im in south wales,
but hope to go to one of the ak open days 2026, where im sure we will meet up..
Keep up the postings on how you get on...the bad as well as the good...
