Rode one about 20yrs ago on Guernsey for a couple of days which whilst fun, was a bit pointless as there's a 35mph speed limit across the Island, or there was then...:sad:
Think I'll stick with my Suzuki GSX1400 for the moment though, although I have been toying with the idea of a squirt of Nitrous for a bit of a laugh...:thumbsup:
Of the Sixes I actually preferred the look of the CBX1000..See pic below

My neighbor has the Kaw 1300 Touring Bike - was trying to sell it last spring but could find no takers.. Didn't want that much as I recall - maybe $2k...
Like Paul - I like the Sixes also and added this 1982 CBX to my collection a while back. It's one of only 5300 made and the last year for them;
Nothing sounds quite like this bike... It's smooth and quite powerful - although not a tire shredding machine it will give you a memorable ride to be sure.. Brakes? I've never seen vented steel rotors on any other bike - this one stops in a hurry even though it's a bit on the heavy side.
It's got about 25k miles on it and runs like new.. I do need to get a taller windshield though as I am too tall for this one at almost 6'4"...
