I stopped in Sunday to see the MK-IV J6, the Lola and the P-4 this weekend at Lime Rock Racetrack in Connecticut. Jim was there with his cars. (errr... works of art would be more like it.) While there was no racing on Sunday there is a car show. And what a car show it is. There were about a dozen original cobras, another original GT-40, another P-4, an Elenor Mustang, along with many other significant cars and lots of cool and not so cool daily drivers were shown.
Jim's cars in the flesh are much more impressive than the pictures that have been posted on the forum. Absolutely stunning. Tears to the eyes stunning.
Jim, Thanks for bringing your cars to such a cool laid back venue. While I was looking at your p-4 there was a guy standing next to me that commented that he came in a Porsche turbo. He said that if he put his car next to yours his would look more like a pick-up truck than a sports car. He would be right.
and to think that I did not bring my camera, damn!
