Location of VIN number

Can anyone supply me a photo of the location where the VIN is stamped on your RCR GT40? I don't need or want to see your number just the location and number of locations.

I find this strange that 54 RCR owners have viewed this entry and no one knows where the VIN number should be?

Hi Mike I have a GTD, And I viewed your post. If I were you I would contact Fran Hall at RCR He will know were they put them.

I pounded mine into the upright in the door jam. Texas wanted it there into a permanant component.

My RCR did not come with a stamped vin number on the chassis. The number was later stamped on a plate and riveted to the engine bulkhead, visible when the clip is raised.
