Longleat Regs..... Sep 2007

Hi all -

I've been contacted by the organisers of the Hillclimbs at Longleat in Sept (22nd/23rd) asking for confirmation of competitors.

I know the obvious ones, but to be sure, drop your name below or PM me and I'll make sure you get entry regs as they are published. (Due out in a couple of weeks)...

Oh - and when they do come out - GET YOUR FORM RETURNED QUICK! - cos this event fills up virtually overnight!!!

SO - I'm in!

I'd like to think that Nad and I are on the 'obvious' list, but just in case...........We'd love to do both days.

John,
Is that with or without your tartan underpants hanging from the back as an aerodynamic aid as per IOM?
Mike

MikeP - I think you have the wrong attitude. Its a very serious sport, even though I have only ever done one event, it takes a lot of time and preparation to achieve results like mine. I know you did your best to put me off but even so, I can honestly say that in my class, despite being up against experienced regulars, nobody else got times like me.

Thrilled to see that Interest is accumulating for this event, although I'm slightly worried by a certain entrants diversionary tartan tactics......... If you want to do both days, be aware that you need to run as BARC members on the Sunday, I think I'm right in saying that the GTD's are only invited to do Saturday, as was the case last year. Can you verify this, Paul?

Hi Bjorn - correct -

GTD40 Club members are eligible for entry to Saturdays event and for Sunday you'll need to be a member of one of the other included clubs...

Regs just received...

Attached as PDF.

Remember - ENTER QUICK - OR YOU WON'T GET IN!!!!

And check where you send it as the organiser has changed address. (details within doc)

Nad and I are in Saturday with the twin S/C Vipers, running in the GTD40 class.......... Can't wait!

Hi Martin -

There is a Pub/guesthouse just outside the main entrance, Rodger Burston has stayed there before so may remember the name, also Centerparcs Longleat is just outside and a number of us usually stay there. If I think of anywhere else nearby I'll drop you a line.

Should be fun!
