That's good for now. You will need to have the bodywork finally fit to the chassis before you can adjust the doors to set gaps. I tried to do mine off the car by making a jig but in the end it didn't work. It will all come together in the end. I think these doors were pretty straight forward compared to the GTD doors on my GT40.
Thanks Howard. I had planned on stopping for the time being as the main body isn't in it's final shape and the door doesn't really fit well.
I think the hardest part was figuring out where to drill holes on the door and making the templates for the two metal plates for inside and outside of the door frame. That took some thinking to get right. It wasn't really clicking with me until I saw some close up images of the inner door panel that made it make more sense.
I'm leaving everything a little loose for now until the body is up on the frame to get the fit just right.
