Hi Ron..

I've pinged the owner of the site who can help you out..

Welcome to GT40s.com

Ok thanks

I am also the owner of the RCR P 4 that Ron Randall is working on
It has an LS 3 and a 1979 Fiat X 1/9 super stroker 1,800cc featured in Hemming's Sports and exotics
along with various Bailey Cars
Looking forward to adding some spice to the site!

Ron,
Back around '78 I built a Dallara bodied X-1/9 with a Dino engine, Lancia gearbox, Porsche brakes, Campy wheels, etc. and a heap of parts from the "Crazy Al Constantino". As far as I know, she's still running around the Phoenix area. Crazy expensive project lost in a divorce settlement. Shame! You must know Guy Moerenhout too.

So you're the P4 owner. Your car is in very good hands. Ron R is the best. One of the P4's I saw at his shop has this (photo). Did you go with the LS3 for maintenance reasons?

Don't know Guy...but ! do know crazy expensive..But a high powered X 1/9 is more fun than eating watermelon ( that's a quote from Road and Track when describing driving another car I used to own, the Chuck Beck SHOGUN) My X is at 165 HP on street gas twin webers..no rust orig paint

2 dif P 4's cars I own 2 RCR P 4's which I was planning to put V 12's in But I found it or should I say that my mechanic found it too challenging to install a V 12 in the RCR Chassis. So we opted for the LS 3 that Body has been ready and waiting for the finished RCR P 4 since Sept. The RCR chassis is currently at Ron's shop. The photo you display is of my Bailey P 4 which easily (well even with a longer chassis not too! east to fit the Ferrari V 12)
Ron Randall is very very good it is a pleasure working with him. I will be bringing another Bailey P 4 there very soon so keep a look out for it (hint it is green)
