My son and I used to fly model airplanes but these model jets are really amazing. They cost thousands to build. I was at a model airshow in Essex a few years ago when two model jets had an air to air. They both came down in tiny pieces. Apart from the man hours they took to build the cost of the damage was estimated at over twenty grand...DOH!

I just learned that Andy Sheldon of Tornado builds and messes around quite a bit with RC Jets and motors. Cool stuff, a lot different now than when my father did it as a hobby 30 years ago, for sure!
