The pinch weld primer we all use to prep our WS installations seems very tough and is catalyzed which makes it much tougher against abrasion or chemical attack. I used this upon the redo my back window, so far it holds up to vibration abrasion very well. The first attempt (Tayama model RC paint) wore through quickly. You just have to make sure you pull the fineline tape off while the paint is fresh or even wet, otherwise it will tear the edges.
